Terms of Service

By signing into LRE Compass CRM ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be a licensed real estate professional or work with a licensed brokerage.
• You must be authorized to use the Service by LRE Realty (which means: you must be on the test users list in our Google Cloud project, or you have been invited by your team admin).
• You agree to provide accurate, current information when signing in and managing contacts.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your Google sign-in credentials secure. Do not share your session with anyone else.

The contact information you add to the Service remains yours. You can export it (via the Sheets sync feature) or delete it at any time.

Anthropic API keys you paste into Settings remain yours. We store them encrypted and use them only to make AI drafting requests on your behalf. You are responsible for any usage charges Anthropic bills to that key.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam). All emails sent through the Service go through your own Gmail account and are subject to Google's anti-spam policies and the CAN-SPAM Act.
• Send misleading, fraudulent, or harassing communications.
• Add contacts to the Service without their consent if your jurisdiction requires it (e.g., GDPR jurisdictions).
• Attempt to bypass the Service's security, abuse rate limits, scrape data not yours, or access another agent's data.
• Violate Google's or Anthropic's terms of service through the Service.
• Use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity, including housing discrimination, fair-housing violations, or fraudulent transactions.

The Service connects to Google (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets) and Anthropic (Claude API). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms:

We are not responsible for outages, billing, or policy changes by these third parties.

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude to draft email and text messages on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before sending. AI drafts can contain errors, omissions, or inappropriate phrasing. You — not the AI — are the author of any message you send.

Do not rely on AI-drafted content for legally significant communications (e.g., offers, contracts, disclosures) without human review.

You are responsible for ensuring that all communications and CRM activity through the Service comply with applicable real estate, fair-housing, and consumer protection laws including but not limited to the Fair Housing Act, RESPA, and state-level licensing rules.

The Service does not provide legal advice. Consult your own counsel for compliance questions.

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LRE Realty is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including lost profits, lost data, missed appointments, or business interruption.

In jurisdictions that do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You can stop using the Service at any time by signing out and revoking Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

We may update these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use after material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
